Is Gazette free?
Yes. Every feature is free, with no trial and no card. A few clearly labeled sponsored cards keep it free, and your reading list is never sold.
What can I follow?
Websites and blogs (RSS, Atom, JSON Feed), YouTube channels, X accounts, Bluesky and Mastodon profiles, Reddit communities, Telegram channels and email newsletters. You can also import an OPML file from another reader.
Is there an algorithm?
No. Stories appear newest first from the sources you follow. Nothing is ranked, recommended or inferred from your reading.
When is the iPhone app coming?
It's in App Store review now. Until then, start on the web — your sources and read state will be there when you install the app.
What do you do with my data?
We store what you follow and what you've read so it syncs. We use Google Analytics to understand how the product is used. Nothing is sold. See the privacy policy for details.
